Original Sites, Without Templates
All Meridian Web sites are designed without templates. If you surf around, you'll see that in order to save time and increase productivity, some designers are turning to templates. And this is fine for some, but templates really are basic formulas that take away a lot of room for creativity. A template site 'looks' like a template site. It doesn't address specific needs, and won't offer anywhere near the flexibility of an original site. Do you have your own ideas? Not much room for that with templates. The cost of an original site designed by myself compared to a template design is actually quite comparable, however. Generally, with templates, the designer benefits, not the client. An original site offers you my own personal involvement, every step of the way. And right now, I'm offering a special package for new practitioners.
Ready Made Content
Not everyone is a writer. I find that the most difficult thing for my clients to come up with when we are designing a site is the content. You will have as much involvement as you want with the content, but especially if you are an acupuncturist or TCM herbalist, I already have basic information for you if you so choose. Client Content Updating
With special coding that I install during the design work, content of your site can be changed and appended by you, from your computer at any time you want. Using PHP, I set the site up in such a way that the content you want to update is tagged in the HTML code. Then by simply logging in to your own console using a unique password and username, you can add, delete or change the content yourself, without worrying that you will mess up the structure of your site. You don't need to know anything about web design, whatsoever.
Optimization Knowledge
I have a very good understanding of both the holistic medical profession and the way search engine optimization works to get your web on Google and Yahoo. This combination benefits you because I already know what keywords work and what the public is looking for when they search for you. Building your site incorporates that knowledge from the beginning.
Are You a Blogger?
You may have a page of your site that is fed constantly with RSS so that your blog articles will appear on the page as you publish them. This also allows you to provide content from any news source that you feel would be of interest to your clients.
